The modular design of the system enables the tailored combination of production lines in the snack and sandwiches manufacturing. Every machine of our product range can be added to the line. Thanks to newly integrated monitors in our latest generation, which visualize the production steps at a glance, everything is guaranteed at its place. A clever design relieves the strain on staff through ergonomically friendly and easy to clean work stations.

At Krumbein you receive everything at one-stop – thanks to a sophisticated overall concept with perfectly matching components are interface problems a thing of the past. Our universal mounting system of the SnackFlexLine comprises the Before, During and After:

Before:

  • A huge selection of cutting solutions – perfectly tailored to the individual requirements

  • Horizontal slicing systems in different specifications and widths

  • Vertical slicing systems including automatic handover of the product with the cut surface face up

  • Butter spreading systems for the effective spreading of butter, sauces, cremes, mayonnaise, sandwich fillings, dips, relishes etc. to your need

During:

  • Transport and topping conveyors provide the basis of the most up-to-date hygienic implementation

  • Modular system: Available standard lengths 2m/3m/4m/5m/6m with a width of 400mm or 600mm

  • Perfectly matching add-on modules: Optimized rack systems for GastroNorm(GN) containers / Euronorm, work surfaces as hinged countertops, special rack systems for depositing machines as well as guide rails for the product direction

  • Ideal combination with the plug-in piston depositor, ready to use with pneumatic depositor machines

After:

  • If required, additional cutting machines can be added at the finishing line of the snack production, e.g. to slice readily topped sandwiches

  • Additionally, a huge selection of work desks to use as slicing and packaging stations are available

  • We cooperate with well-known companies to provide solutions for packaging, labeling and commissioning of the goods. Hence, we can integrate these processes into the overall concept in an optimal way.

Monitors visualize any step in the specified production process, a web-based connection or to a tablet is possible

all SnackFlexLine solutions are designed as modules and can be flexibly combined with our proven KRUMBEIN cutting machines, the plug-in modules are ready to use

To avoid tiring of your staff whilst working at the SnackFlexLine, we ergonomically designed movable work surfaces and different widths of the conveyors

UVC lights provide permanent disinfection of the conveyor belts – for this KRUMBEIN relies on proven and tested technology by Peschl Ultraviolet GmbH

Visualization of recipes: To see, what’s next

In combination with our touch screen control, a recipe visualization tool is available on the SnackFlexLine which clearly and concisely communicates the most important information in words and images to the operator. Simply create photos of the individual work steps, add recipe information, and send to the system – done!

  • Freely positioned monitors, which are connected to the machine control unit, visualize the digital topping instructions for the individual workstations

  • Creation of recipes and operating processes on various devices independently of the system (smartphone / tablet / notebook / PC)

  • Lengthy instructions are no longer necessary: staff on the production line know exactly what to do – increased product quality

  • Visualization of the quantity specifications – input of the target number of pieces & automatic capture and display of the actual number of pieces

  • An unlimited number of monitors can be fixed on to the mounting rail and connected to the system – each monitor can be logged in independently

  • If required, the recipe visualization tool can also be connected to the customer network which enables the transmission and evaluation of statistical data of the production processes

Highest hygiene standards thanks to UVC disinfection

KRUMBEIN uses innovative UVC high-performance disinfection modules by Peschl Ultraviolet GmbH to provide germ free conveyor belts. They avoid cross-contamination and reduce the amount of germs permanently. Thus, cleaning intervals in between production shifts are extended.

Compared to conventional UVC lights with the same length, our inserted specialized UVC lights have a 4-times higher UVC performance.  In addition, more than 50% of the generated UVC performance will be emitted directly on the surface through the unique flat-lamp-technology  which causes an enormously high effectiveness.

The disinfection modules can be simply chosen as an option when composing your individual SnackFlexLine.
