With every cut, all blades pass through the product on the baking tray simultaneously. Instead of cutting row by row, the KSSM V 4.0 D divides the entire product in a single pass. As both cutting stations operate in parallel, throughput is maximised. This ensures consistent cutting quality across the entire baking tray and forms the basis for the machine’s high speed.

Longitudinal and transverse cuts in a single pass.

The tray passes through the KSSM V 4.0 D fully automatically. At the first cutting station, the longitudinal cut is performed, at the second the transverse cut. This produces the fully portioned product in a single, continuous process, from infeed to discharge.

The KSSM V 4.0 D features an intelligent recipe management system. Cutting parameters and cutting speeds are set once and are then available again at the push of a button. This minimises setup times and prevents operating errors. In addition, the display guides the operator through upcoming maintenance steps.

Cleaning made easy.

The KSSM V 4.0 D is consistently designed for hygiene. The modern construction concept is built from the ground up for easy cleaning. The machine can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly, including intensive wet cleaning with low-pressure water.

For the cyclic cleaning of the blades, an automatic cleaning system with hot water is optionally available, which cleans the blades after a freely adjustable interval.

The KSSM V 4.0 D is built as a high-performance cake cutting machine for maximum throughput. It connects seamlessly to the Krumbein cake line, which handles production on the tray. Two perfectly coordinated systems that cover the entire process from production through to the finished cut.

Every baked good places its own demands on the cut. That is why the right blade design is available for the KSSM V 4.0 D. The twin blade is the universal blade for classic products, the mono blade is suited to firm products such as gingerbread and brownies, and the baklava blade is for thin-pastry products.
